SolomonEdwards is working with a commercial banking headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our client has helped fund more than 30,000 start-ups and has turned to SolomonEdwards for help with Compliance for Client Marketing. This role requires an experienced individual with Banking and Compliance that has 5-10 years of experience in the industry. Due to the fast-paced nature of the regulatory and business environments, the position requires the ability to quickly adapt. The individual must be able to provide compliance guidance that balances both regulatory requirements while meeting business objectives. The individual will exercise judgement to determine if the disclosures that are going out to clients align from a regulatory, language, and policies perspective. While this role requires a Senior Consultant, the client wants an individual that has done this work before whether reviewing disclosures from a Compliance perspective. When reviewing documentation, the Compliance Consultant must be able to look at what makes sense and what does not.

 

Consultant Expertise

Industry

Fortune 500 Industry experience with compliance and banking and financial services. Previous experience with management consulting preferred.

REQUIREMENTS
5-10 years of banking, compliance, or risk management experience.
The individual must have the ability to perform complex compliance research and analysis for new and/or undeveloped compliance programs.
The individual should have knowledge related to marketing regulations, such as UDAAP, UDAP, consumer protection regulations, etc.
Experienced in compliance risk assessments, monitoring, testing and due diligence.
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on courses of action.
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
Strong managerial and organizational skills and ability to work in an efficient manner.
High degree of initiative and strong ability to meet principle accountabilities with limited direction and oversight.
Proficient with MS Office Professional programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.
Excellent report and presentation design, preparation and delivery skills.
CRCM or other relevant compliance certification a plus but not required.
