The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo's risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

The Transactional Quality Management Team is responsible for management of quality controls in support of the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence.  They oversee quality control steps to meet expected Wells Fargo standards, policy and remediation requirements.

The Business Liaison Consultant 2 works with key business partners, providing subject matter expertise on a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations (that are managed by others) to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives. Ensures efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and impasse and pipeline management relating to assigned operations. Enacts and monitors key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations. Establishes framework for assigned business operational reviews and suggests oversight strategies. Participates in performance monitoring reviews. Ensures effective integration/timing of change initiatives related to assigned business operations. Has ongoing accountability for effective operational controls. Influences technology or innovation opportunities on behalf of line of business or group. Participates on projects as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create test scripts to align with the needs of the each step in the mailing quality lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple projects at once.
  • Work with all levels of leaders across COE Remediation to understand business requirements that drive needs to ensure all aspects of the mailing processes are met.
  • Build relationships with internal and external partners to ensure proper prioritization of policy and procedure requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal partners to complete compliance/audit reviews.
  • Ensure mailing quality assurance deadlines are meet by following the COE and Corporate standards/protocols

Please Note: Selected candidate will be required to work within one of the following Wells Fargo locations: Charlotte, NC; Fort Mill, SC; Des Moines, IA; Minneapolis, MN; Dallas, TX; Irving, TX; Phoenix, AZ. Potentially open to other locations across the Wells Fargo footprint.  Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Position is currently remote; however, candidate(s) will be required to work on site when Wells Fargo returns to standard operating model.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business operations, implementation, or strategic planning demonstrated through work or military experience; or 2+ years of legal experience which includes the review, evaluation and response to agency, law firm, or regulatory inquiries

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Vendor Mailing Quality Assurance lifecycle
  • Experience in Risk Management/Compliance
  • Experience in a Strategic Consulting function focused on improving and executing key business processes
  • Superior project management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to facilitate team meetings or present information to an audience
  • Ability to present to multiple levels of management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
