The Sr. Marketing Strategist acts as a senior level contact to lead and manage direct marketing, online marketing, social media, and communications. The Sr. Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined marketing and communications strategy in a manner that supports consistent business growth and enhances brand equity and awareness. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all marketing functions such as branding, marketing automation, campaign creation, analytics, SEO/SEM, budgeting, white papers, and social media marketing to achieve growth, profitability, and visibility while ensuring a consistent marketing message and position consistent with the company’s direction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop unique value propositions, business partnerships, as well as call to action-oriented advertising targeted toward the pediatric home healthcare sector to increase brand awareness
  • Create, manage, coordinate, and execute all marketing strategies and implement tactical plans that meet and exceed company expectations
  • Achieve targeted results and ensure timely and effective execution of marketing tactics and programs
  • Analyze, evaluate, plan, and execute on both existing and potential marketing activities and strategies
  • Develop benchmark criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Conduct and analyze market research to determine competitiveness
  • Conduct strategic marketing analysis and planning, as well as market and competitive research
  • Develop and maintain PHH’s brand and collateral
  • Provide overall marketing/advertising campaign rationale development
  • Develop and recommend results driven solutions
  • Meet regularly with the leadership team regarding marketing solutions and initiatives
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of PHH’s trade secrets and other confidential information
  • Perform additional duties or work on projects assigned by leadership
  • Follow all applicable policies and procedures of PHH, including its employee handbook

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Four-year college marketing degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or healthcare advertising
  • 10 – 15 years’ experience in account management, team and/or department management
  • Track record of successfully leading a high growth potential operation while building significant business value and controlling costs
  • Experience with brand and communications strategy development and implementation
  • Must also possess:
    • Exceptional written and oral communication and comprehension skills
    • Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
    • A detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
    • Company-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and the ability to quickly learn new technical systems as needed
    • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines
