Description

The VP of Strategic Partnerships and Vendor Management will identify and create Company financial services opportunities with our partners while developing and cultivating our current relationships. The role will be accountable for setting Company’s partner strategy: creating the business plan, defining cross-functional initiatives to deliver on the plan, and meeting targets for the partnerships including revenue, pipeline creation, partnership tiers, partnership health and strategic objectives. This position will report to the SVP of Financial Services.    

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will be doing:

  • Execute on Company’s vision and value proposition with specific partners with participation of exec, sales, product, and delivery leadership
  • Build pipeline of opportunities, and lead and new business opportunities, through the sales process -- working collaboratively with Sales and  Sales Enablement.
  • Drive creation of client-facing sales materials for partnership offerings including sales decks and partner marketing materials
  • Monitor and manage performance metrics/measurement across the partnership portfolio

Financial & Contract Management

  • Maintain pipeline in Salesforce along with support of Sales Operations
  • Ensure handling of contracting and related paperwork including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, etc with the support of Sales Operations

Client Management - Sales & Account Management

  • Align with client success for partner account mapping to identify mutual opportunities for upsell and growth of the accounts
  • Align with new logo sales executives for target account mapping to pursue new opportunities
  • Align with other client, strategy, or other leadership for cross-division sales pursuits and joint offering development
  • Escalation point for any sales engagement issues related to the partnerships

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

What we think it takes to get the job:

  • 10+ years of experience in customer/partnership management
  • Demonstrated success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships
  • Ability to create new and creative partnership solutions and joint value propositions
  • Strong networking and influence management skills that translate into building commitment and driving actions across organizational boundaries
  • Ability to present to senior level executives as well as run and facilitate strategic working sessions
  • Highly credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skills and track record of delivering results
