Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for 2nd-level or tier 2 support, by adhering to basic Human Resources policy, payroll and benefits questions and supporting hiring managers with navigating the ATS and HRIS systems
  • Supports duties related to the recruitment process including job postings, coordinating interviews and screening candidates
  • Prepares routine and special reports by conducting necessary analysis of trends and identifying problem areas where the margin for error is small and level of importance is high
  • Engage employees and resolves issues quickly and efficiently, with a high degree of professionalism and tact. Escalates any issues appropriately
  • Resolves any employee personnel inquiries and submits any necessary inputs, changes, additions and deletions into the HR Information System. Reports unusual or unresolved problems to HR Manager for further action
  • Provides guidance to employees on company HR policies and procedures (e.g. Time Off with Pay, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.)
  • Create, deploy, and assess and evaluate all HR department policies, procedures, and structures
  • Assists with the credentialing process of new and current team members
  • Assists with the performance review and termination processes
  • Maintains employee files as to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Superior personal computer skills including mastery of Microsoft Office products and data base programs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public and staff presentations
  • Well organized, capable of juggling multiple projects and accustomed to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently with both clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Coaches and enforces appropriate documentation and follow up by HR

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desirable but not required
  • 3+ years experience in Human Resources

ADA Requirements

  • Lifting of less than 50 pounds / more than 50 pounds
  • Office skills and activities including typing, answering phone, copying, etc.

  • Be able to establish and maintain positive relationships in the workplace, including with representatives of regulatory agencies
  • Have the aptitude for science backed decision making and use proper judgment with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Efficient Self-starter with strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • High integrity and sound judgement; able to react quickly and make effective decisions
  • Possess high polished communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
