A well-trusted not-for-profit Medical Center in North Texas is seeking a Manager of Quality and Risk Management to join their dedicated and caring team that has been serving patients for over a decade.
The Manager Quality and Risk Management reports to the Vice President of Quality and is supported by a team of registered nurses. The Risk Manager collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, clinical management and additional clinical support staff to develop enhance and implement quality initiatives.
The Quality and Risk Management Nurse Manager will be responsible for oversight of Risk Management, Regulatory Readiness, Regulatory Compliance and Patient Safety at the hospital. The Manager of Quality and Risk Management will support operations in a manner that is consistent with overall hospital strategies, policies and procedures.
The Risk and Quality Manager will work to ensure best practices and see that all quality and patient safety programs are in line with Joint Commission and standards established through state and federal regulation.
The Quality and Risk Manager will be responsible for facilitating Failure Mode Effects Analysis and Root Cause Analysis as well as identifying high risk processes. The Quality and Risk Manager will be responsible for data analysis to ensure continuous process improvement in regards to High Reliability and Risk Management.
The Risk Manager will be responsible for all patient safety improvement assessment, educating staff on system wide patient safety outcome improvements, and will consult with numerous levels of staff, providers and managers to decrease the overall operational risks.
