Compensation: $40.00 to $42.00 hourly

Our Dallas, TX based client has an immediate need for a Sr. Property Accountant on a contract basis.

This will be a 6+ month contract requiring the Sr. Property Accountant to work onsite. There is the potential for this to convert into a full-time position.

Sr. Property Accountant

• Ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting and project billing.

• Assist in project planning and updating schedules.

• Generate and provide accurate invoices to clients.

• Develop and recommend revisions to accounting systems and procedures.

• Monthly invoicing per contract.

• Knowledge of budgeting and cash forecasting.

• Ability to identify project related risks.

• Set up new projects.

• Write off any uncollectable receivables, labor or expense as directed.

• Report monthly billing and contract status for office.

• Create policies for project contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approves, and any additional services.

• Maintain knowledge on all best practices regarding accounting and finance.

• Other duties as assigned.
